Based in the Toronto office, Blake Connoy advises financial services organizations. Focusing on strategy, Blake works with companies to integrate their organizational culture, competencies and assets, community and employee interests, and core business strategy to deliver social, environmental and business impacts over the long-term. 

Whether facilitating stakeholder sessions, conducting industry benchmarking, synthesizing key findings, developing improvement and implementation roadmaps, or presenting to senior leadership, Blake is passionate about improving business performance through social and environmental mechanisms – ultimately creating shared value!

Prior to joining CBSR, Blake was the Principal of InterSector, a consultancy that helps public, private and non-profit sector organizations to strategically partner, collaborate and plan to do their socially-minded initiatives.  Before that, Blake consulted for Deloitte & Touche LLP, working with Canada’s banks, insurance firms and government agencies in the areas of strategy, governance and risk management.
 
Blake is an avid volunteer with United Way Toronto, Framework Foundation (Timeraiser), Greater Toronto CivicAction Alliance (Emerging Leaders Network), Evergreen Brick Works, and Engineers Without Borders Canada.  Blake holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science and a Technological Entrepreneurship Certificate from the University of Western Ontario.
