Myrna Khan

Senior Vice President & General Manager 

Myrna has been with CBSR since 2001. As Senior Vice President and General Manager, she is responsible for leading the member engagement, programs and advisory services teams. These teams provide guidance and candid counsel on CSR and sustainability issues to CBSR member companies. Her areas of expertise are employee engagement, stakeholder engagement, CSR strategy and reporting.  She is also responsible for making sure things at CBSR run smoothly turning BHAGs (big, hairy, audacious goals) into practical reality. 

 
After completing her MBA in 1994, Myrna worked for eight years in the corporate world specializing in client relationship management and consulting. Myrna held various management positions with Canadian corporations including Canadian National Railway as a member of their Initial Public Offering team, as financial planning officer, and as National Account Manager for some of CN's most strategic customers. She also helped lead the creation of a consulting division for Canada's leading corporate travel management company. 

Myrna has her MBA in International Business from McGill University, her BSc (dist.) in Psychology from the University of Alberta, and has completed the Advanced Program for International Management at Copenhagen Business School.

In 1998, Myrna and her husband Andrew sold all their belongings and undertook a yearlong backpacking trek across Asia. After their adventure, they settled in Vancouver where they now revel in the great outdoors and learn to love the rain with their daughter Gracie.
