Sheila has extensive knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), building from her community investment work with two large Canadian charitable foundations to consulting on grants programs and strategic CSR processes.
Originally from the UK, Sheila lived and worked in the USA before moving to Canada. She has worked in the financial, government, multi-national, and nonprofit sectors.
A certified Management Consultant (CMC) and trainer for university and professional development courses, Sheila coaches MBA students, trains new consultants and teaches university courses in CSR and nonprofit studies.
Actively supporting her local and professional communities, Sheila was awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal and the Scouts Canada Centennial Medal. Currently she chairs Scouts Canada’s Chinook Region Community Council, volunteers with IABC Calgary, and is a judge for Oil Week Magazine’s annual Sustainability Report Awards.
