Wendy Mitchell

Financial Administrator

As CBSR’s Financial Administrator, Wendy is all about the numbers (known as “Numbers Malone” around the office).  From a financial focus, Wendy is interested in the triple bottom line and became part of CBSR in 2003 through involvement with their volunteer program.

With a background in resource management, Wendy has been providing administrative and financial support to environmental and not for profit organizations for the past 20 years.  Prior to CBSR, Wendy was the Administrative and Financial Coordinator for the Squamish River Watershed Society, assisting the SRWS Board in administering watershed restoration projects throughout the Squamish-Lillooet corridor.  Since 1995, Wendy has been a volunteer Board member of The Pacific Streamkeepers Federation, which supports Streamkeeper groups throughout BC and the Yukon.
 

Although Wendy loves to live in the detailed world of financial administration, she also likes to escape the computer to hike the local mountains and set sail out in BC’s fabulous coastal waters.  Now residing and working remotely in Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of BC, she can do both.
