CBSR Summit: Register while seats remain

What makes business social and environmental transformation possible?

Leading organizations are driving sustainability as it is bringing tremendous value to their people, products, performance and bottom line. But how did they get there? What are they doing in today’s economy? And how can they continue to demonstrate leadership?

The CBSR Summit has sold out for the past three years -  this year, limited seats remain and registration is available online for the Summit and pre- and post-workshops (on November 4 and 6).

There will be many business visionaries, government leaders and sustainability experts engaging and interacting with attendees, including:

  • Elyse Allan, GE Canada
  • Ray Anderson, Interface Inc.
  • Laurel Broten, MPP Etobicoke-Lakeshore
  • Gerald Butts, WWF-Canada
  • Jeffrey Hollender, Seventh Generation Inc.
  • David Labistour, Mountain Equipment Co-op
  • John Ruggie, UN Special Representative for Business and Human Rights
  • Justin Trudeau, Member of Parliament (Papineau)
  • Bob Willard, Author of The Sustainability Champion’s Guidebook

Several break out sessions are planned to ensure there are meaningful discussions with leadership, people and product experts from forward thinking organizations including Cisco Systems, Cascades, Sobeys, Hewitt Associates and The Co-operators.

Pre- and post-Summit workshops will provide hands-on guidance on November 4 and 6 in areas including strategic community investment, FPIC, integrated water management, backcasting, CSR assessment, reporting and communication, and stakeholder mapping.
