In a Globe & Mail special information feature brought to you by one of our members, Export Development Canada (EDC), Rob Moore, Interim President & CEO at CBSR was interviewed on the subject of corporate social responsibility in international trade.

 

“If you think you are operating out-of-site/out-of-mind when you are in another country, that’s just not the case. There is an active international NGO community using social networks dedicated to reporting on corporate operations. They use technologies like Google Earth to monitor mines and other job sites.”

Rob Moore has served on the CBSR Board of Directors since 2005, and was appointed interim CEO of CBSR in October 2011. On behalf of the Board, he is leading a strategic review of the organization, including the recruitment of a permanent CEO. Most recently Rob was the Senior Vice President, Marketing, Communications and Stakeholder Relations at Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
